‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’ official teaser is out and giving us the creeps

The teaser for the much-awaited “Pretty Little Liars” reboot is here—and it’s creepier than ever.

The sneak peek for “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” starts off with someone opening a box of trinkets and setting on fire photos of missing girls.

In the background, a demonic voice could be heard saying, “got a secret?” while an eerie music box version of the show’s theme played. Toward the end of the trailer, a faceless woman appears.

As of this writing, the teaser has attracted over 486,500 views and several comments from fans who have high hopes for the reboot.

“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” takes place 20 years after “a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart.”

Much like the original, the story follows a group of teenage girls who find themselves tormented and made to “pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago … as well as their own.”

Included in the cast is Lea Salonga, who plays Elodie or the mother of the character Minnie. She is also joined by Filipina-American actress Sharon Leal, Chandler Kinney, and Alex Aiono, among others.

“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” will start streaming on HBO Max on July 28. – RC, GMA News
