Herlene Budol and Sphencer Reyes surprise P2P passengers with early Aguinaldo

Herlene Budol and Sphencer Reyes just made the Christmas spirit felt with a caroling session and Aguinaldo giving in select P2P buses going to Alabang.

In an episode of GMA Public Affairs and YouTube's "Pinoy Christmas in our Hearts," Sphencer and Herlene surprised the passengers of a P2P bus headed to Alabang with a caroling session but with a twist.

"So ngayong araw na 'to magiging pasahero kami at hindi lang pasahero ha, mangangaroling kami with a twist dahil kami ang magbibigay ng [pa-premyo] at Aguinaldo sa mga pasahero," Herlene told.

When the bus was filled with enough passengers, Herlene interacted with them and asked if she could sing for them.

After the passengers willingly accommodated their request, Herlene and Sphencer sang classic Christmas songs, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," followed by "Jingle Bells."

For those who didn't know Sphencer, Herlene also introduced him to the passengers as a proud Filipino bus driver in the United Kingdom.

"Kaya alam niya ang hirap ng mga driver," the Kapuso star said. "Hindi biro."

After they finished singing their Christmas carols, Herlene took out the envelopes for their much-awaited surprise. She then distributed the envelopes to the passengers while singing "Jingle Bells."

"'Di ba may mga nakita kayong mga sobre? Pero ang twist po dito hindi po kami ang namamasko. Kami po ang mamimigay ng pamasko," Sphencer said.

"'Yun! Para mas masaya tayong lahat," he added.

After the first bus, Herlene and Sphencer hopped on another one from Greenbelt to bring more Aguinaldo to lucky passengers.

Toward the end of the video, Sphencer expressed his gratitude for having the chance to come home to the Philippines.

"I'm really happy dahil nakita ko lahat 'yung mga loved ones, especially my nanay and tatay," he said.

Sphencer also said that celebrating Christmas in the Philippines is incomparable to anywhere else.

"It's been seven years. So talagang ang sarap ng feeling. Masayang masaya [rito]. Ibang-iba," he ended.

In the pilot episode of "Pinoy Christmas in our Hearts," socialite turned vlogger Small Laude tested her shopping skills when she was asked to buy Christmas gifts for a family of 10 for just P2,500.
