Netflix's live-action 'One Piece' is premiering this 2023

Three years after the live-action "One Piece" was announced, Netflix said the series is dropping this 2023!

The streaming giant just released a poster of the highly anticipated TV screen adaptation of the classic anime series which said: "Setting sail 2023."

In the poster, Luffy has his fist raised up in the air as he looks out into the sea, the sun setting in the horizon.

Netflix announced that they were producing a 10-episode live-action series of "One Piece" in January 2020. Eiichiro Oda, the author of the manga series, is one of the show's executive producers.

The main cast includes Emily Rudd (Nami), Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), and Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp).

"One Piece" was serialized as a manga in 1997 and is still ongoing, making it one of the longest-running manga series in existence. It spawned an anime with the same name in 1999.
