Team FiLay featured in rice paddy art

Future Rice Farm of the Philippine Rice Research Institute featured Team FiLay in their famous rice paddy art!

Using traditional purple rice and the rice variety PSB Rc 10, they "drew" the image of Barbie Forteza and David Licauco through the anamorphosis design principle.

It is a 3D technique where a picture looks distorted but appears normal when viewed from a certain angle.

Aside from Fidel and Klay, the artwork showed the word "FILAY" and a heart below it.

Previously, the farm has done other rice artwork based on other celebrities and even politicians.

Past works include Vico Sotto, Hidilyn Diaz, President BongBong Marcos, Vice President Sara Duterte, and more.

Naturally, it has reportedly grown to be an annual tourism attraction. The farm is located in Barangay Maligaya, Nueva Ecija.

After their successful team up in "Maria Clara at Ibarra," Barbie and David continue to have more projects together.

They recently starred in "Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko: Lady and Luke" and Ben&Ben's music video for "The Way You Look at Me."
