Catriona Gray in praising Miss U Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee: 'Excited to witness how you'll carry our sash again!'

Queen supporting queen! Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray may not be physically present during the crowning of the new Miss Universe Philippines, but she didn't forget to express her support for Michelle Dee on social media.

On Twitter, Catriona said she was in Tuscany when the coronation happened on Saturday night.

"We have a new [Ms.] Philippines!" Catriona wrote. "Congrats, [Michelle]!"

"Excited to witness how you'll carry our sash again!" she added with the hashtag #MissUniversePhilippines2023.

Michelle is set to represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2023, which will be held in El Salvador, Central America. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
