Hidilyn Diaz says being a judge in Binibining Pilipinas 2023 was a 'humbling experience'

Days after the grand coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas 2023, Hidilyn Diaz looked back on her experience being part of the pageant’s judging panel.

On Instagram, the Olympic gold medalist said it was a “humbling experience” to share the panel with other notable personalities, including award-winning actress Dolly de Leon, Tatler Philippines’ Editor-in-Chief Anton San Diego, and vlogger Small Laude.

She was also joined by P-Pop group SB19's Josh Cullen, Presidential son Vincent Marcos, actor Piolo Pascual, businessman Peter Zwiener, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, and Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg.

“We were all there to celebrate the smart, beautiful, and confident candidates, each with a unique advocacy," she wrote. "Congratulations to all the participants and winners!”

“To embrace your fears, represent your beliefs, and uplift others - that's the true essence of a winner with beauty and advocacy," she added.

Last month, Hidilyn represented the country at the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships, where she placed fourth in the 59kg competition.
