ENHYPEN put their own twist on a BTS classic!

The 4th-gen K-pop group covered the iconic “I NEED U” for Spotify Singles, the streaming platform’s program that allows artists to record a cover from musicians they admire.

ENHYPEN recorded a moving version of the track, which was first released in 2015. They went acoustic and in turn gave the song a more heartbreaking tone.

In early February, ENHYPEN visited the Philippines for a concert at the New Clark City Stadium in Tarlac as part of their Fate tour.

The group dropped their comeback album “ORANGE BLOOD” last November, which features the songs “Sweet Venom” and “Still Monster.” Another 2023 hit is “BITE ME.”

Meanwhile, BTS is currently on hiatus as the members fulfill their mandatory military service. They renewed their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC in 2023 and are set to reconvene as a group in 2025. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
