'Princess Hours' star Ju Ji Hoon is a striking emperor in first look at 'The Remarried Empress'

Ju Ji Hoon is taking on another royalty role for the live-action adaptation of “The Remarried Empress.”

On Instagram, Disney Plus Korea gave a first look into the upcoming series, which also stars Shin Min Ah, Lee Jong Suk, and Lee Se Young.

The stills gave a glimpse into a world of elegance and royalty, showing the cast clad in ornate attire and framed in lavish palace interior.

“The Remarried Empress” was originally a Korean webtoon that followed an empress navigating love, betrayal, and power after her husband divorced her to marry another woman.

Ju Ji Hoon is iconic for his role as crown prince Lee Shin — more popularly known as Prince Gian in the Philippines.

“The Remarried Empress” is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
