Gazini Ganados dazzles in shimmering gold gown during Miss Universe prelims

Gazini Ganados was a stunner in a shimmering gold gown during the evening gown competition of the Miss Universe 2019 preliminary round on Saturday (Manila time).

In a clip taken backstage and posted in the Miss Universe Instagram Stories, Gazini could be seen rocking the gown.

The 23-year-old Cebuana beauty queen's gown was reminiscent of the pink piece she wore when she won the Miss Universe Philippines 2019 during the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 coronation night.

Her evening gown was one of the two gowns designed by Filipino designer Cary Santiago for the prelims and pageant night.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Santiago explained that Gazini's gown featured "fabric manipulation sans the glitter."

"The silhouette showcases her figure which makes it even more beautiful," he wrote.
