How Heart Evangelista reacted when a Filipino designer badmouthed her for wearing the same pair of shoes

Heart Evangelista delved into her her shoe collection, showing her favorites and talking about them at length in her latest vlog.

Among those was her favorite Louboutin nude heels. According to Heart, a Filipino designer who went unnamed, managed to say bad things about her for always wearing the same pair of shoes.

"There is this Filipino designer I’m not going to name, but a lot of my friends would tell me that  he would always say bad things about me and he would say ‘Oh she only has one pair,'" Heart said in the video.

The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations admitted it bothered her so much, because for her "fashion is all about having key pieces that will last you forever that you could still use and mix with new and old." 

"Fashion isn’t really about who has the pieces from the latest season or what’s newest," Heart said confidently. 

"I really don’t believe in that," she added."I think it’s so nouveau riche. Fashion is made for a lifetime. It’s not just for the season. So when people tell you that 'luma na yan,' forget it. To hell with what they say. It's about how you feel," she said.
