The Philippines, according to John Lennon's son Julian

Julian Lennon, the firstborn son of John Lennon is currently in the Philippines.

He landed in Manila last Friday, March 29 and wasted no time documenting his travels in his Instagram account.

"Couldn’t have been a warmer Welcome... Salamat!" Julian wrote in the caption of his post documenting his arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Julian is in the country upon the invitation of the Department of Tourism.

Since his arrival, Julian has explored Intramuros by the famous Bambike, has sampled Manila's restaurant scene, found an interesting lemonade spot, and has even gone clubbing.

He is currently in Boracay "to help in the sustainability programs and campaign of the DOT," reports PDI.
