Staycation, anyone? Be one with nature in this glass treehouse in Baguio

The beautiful view of pinewood forests is one of the reasons why we love going to Baguio — apart from the cool weather, of course!

If you book a night in a "glass tree house" at the Tudor in the Pines Homestay, you'll be able to stay in a cozy room and wake up to a spectacular view of trees from every direction.

The walls are made of glass, but guests can still get some privacy. As explained by GMA News' Darlene Cay on her report for "Unang Hirit," the glass has a tinted feature that mirrors the trees beautifully if you look from the outside.

Families can unwind in the homestay's many Instagrammable spots, like the nearby waterfall or the bonfire. There's even a lovely hanging bridge that leads to the tree house.

Tudor in the Pines also offers other rooms that provide a scenic view of the Baguio pinewood.

It looks like the perfect place to have a staycation, since Baguio City is gradually start opening its doors to tourists this month.

However, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, be reminded that hotels will be operating on a limited capacity in coordination with the local government's health and safety protocols.
