This 'Korean forest' in Tawi-Tawi looks straight out of a K-drama

Tawi-Tawi is the southernmost province of the Philippines known for its rich culture and beautiful islands.

In a segment of "Unang Hirit," vlogger Amal-Zikria Kiram showed Kapuso viewers around five bucket-list-worthy destinations you have to visit one day.

The Bolobo Cliff Jumping Spot is definitely a must-see summer getaway, with its crystal clear waters and Instagrammable rock formations.

The Sangay Siapo Island, on the other hand, is about an hour-long boat ride from the shore but the cool waters of the Maldives-like paradise are totally worth it.

If it's fun outdoor activities you're after, why not try a fun hike to the Bud Bongao forest park's famous limestone peaks where you can get an awesome 360-degree view of Tawi-Tawi?

Tourists also get the chance to feed some Philippine monkeys who call the Bud Bongao forest park home.

Meanwhile, Tawi-Tawi also has a surprise waiting for K-drama fans. The province actually has its own "Korean forest" which has been likened to Korea's famous tree park in Nami island.

Of course, a tour around Tawi-Tawi can't be complete without trying some of the province's delicious cuisine like the Chicken Piyanggang. This dish from the Tausug features an especially unique sauce made from blackened coconut.
