Vanessa Hudgens arrives in Palawan

On Instagram, the actress posted a video of an early morning hike on the island to catch the sunrise.
"5am hike to the top of the world," she wrote, along with the emoji with heart eyes and the emoji with hearts around its face.
She also posted a photo of the sunrise on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Well good morningggg."
Vanessa is in the country with Filipino mom, Gina, to shoot a travel documentary on the Philippines.
The documentary also reportedly involves Vanessa's sister, Stella. It's slated to be directed and produced by Paul Soriano, who is also the Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications in the Philippines.
Upon arrival in the Philippines, Vanessa's mom shared that the star's favorite Filipino food is pancit, and that she prefers dishes without meat.
Vanessa is also engaged to baseball player Cole Tucker.
