Starbucks PHL hikes beverage prices

Avid fans of Starbucks may have noticed that their favorite beverage has become costlier this week as the coffee-chain giant implemented price adjustments.

“This week, the prices of beverages were adjusted from 3 to 8 percent across all stores,” Starbucks Philippines said in a statement on Tuesday.

The coffee giant said the price increases were part of a “comprehensive approach” to “providing value and the Starbucks Experience.”

“We periodically evaluate pricing to balance our need to run the business profitably while providing maximum value to our loyal customers and to attract new customers,” Starbucks Philippines said. —KG, GMA News
