PAL is world's most improved carrier – Skytrax

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) got the top spot in the 2019 list of the world's most improved air transport service providers, research firm Skytrax reported on Tuesday.

Second to PAL was British Airways, followed by Malaysia Airlines.

Also making it to the Top 5 of most improved carriers were Fiji Airways and Royal Brunei Airlines.

Skytrax said that the rankings were based on the change in the airlines' global ratings and performance improvements.

PAL had also worked it's way up to be among the World's Top 30 Airlines.

It placed 30th this year from being 49th in 2018.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways was hailed as the best airline in the world, as voted on by airline customers. Second to it was Singapore Airlines which ranked as the finest in 2018. — Dona Magsino/DVM, GMA News
