MWSS to Maynilad: Compensate consumers over 'milk tea'-colored water
The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) has ordered Maynilad to look for ways to compensate its customers who have mud-colored water coming out of their faucets amid the service interruptions.
Interviewed on Dobol B sa News TV, MWSS chief regulator Patrick Ty said Maynilad has 15 days to answer his letter asking it to formulate ways to compensate the affected consumers.
"Pinag-aaralan ngayon ng Maynilad kung ano ang puwedeng gawin," he said.
Ty said he and Maynilad officials had already discussed the situation during a meeting.
