Phoenix Petroleum to rollback prices on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019

Independent oil player Phoenix Petroleum Philippines on Friday announced they would slash the pump prices of fuel products, effective Saturday.

In an advisory, Phoenix Petroleum said it would rollback the price per liter of gasoline by P0.80 and decrease the price of diesel by P1.00 per liter.

The price adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m, Oct. 5, 2019.

Meanwhile, an oil industry source said that fuel prices were expected to decrease by P0.93 per liter for diesel and P0.96 per liter for gasoline next week.

Oil companies usually announce price adjustments on Monday and implement them on Tuesday. — John Ted Cordero/DVM, GMA News
