SM Markets sets up express lanes for medical frontliners

Express lanes for medical frontliners battling the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are being set up for them, in recognition of their tireless service.

“As we recognize the tireless service of all medical practitioners and allied health workers, we would like to provide them with shopping convenience for a more productive use of their time,” SM Markets said in a Facebook post.

“We are dedicating an express lane for them to be able to get what they need and quickly get back to serving the nation as the heroes they truly are,” it said.

Health workers must present their Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) or hospital IDs to be allowed immediate entry and pay at the express lane, and the should shop personally.

The express lane is effective for the whole duration of the enhanced community quarantine. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
