Big-time hike in gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices set Tuesday
Motorists exempted from the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) will have to pay more for pump prices of petroleum products this week, as companies announced a big-time hike starting Tuesday.
In separate advisories, Flying V, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and SEAOIL Philippines Inc. said they will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P2.00, diesel by P1.90, and kerosene by P1.25.
Petro Gazz and Phoenix Petroleum will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
Other firms have yet to make any announcements for the week.
According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy, year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P15.27 for gasoline, P16.89 for diesel, and P21.90 for kerosene. —KG, GMA News
