Typhoon Rolly shuts Philippine malls

Philippine malls were shut on Sunday, November 1, due to Typhoon Rolly (international name: Goni), but select essential establishments remain open to accommodate customers.

Below is a list of local malls that have been forced to temporarily close:

Araneta Malls

Ali Mall, Farmers Plaza, Gateway Mall closed, but select essential establishments open.

Ayala Malls

Ayala Malls within the National Capital Region, Laguna, Cavite, Pampanga, Zambales, and Albay closed, with select essential stores open for a limited time.

Ayala Malls are also open for those seeking shelter for the time period.

Robinsons Malls

Robinsons Malls in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, and South Luzon closed starting 12:00 p.m.

Malls in north Luzon (including Robinsons Place Ilocos, Robinsons Place Pangasinan, Robinsons Place Tuguegarao, and Robinsons Place Santiago), as well as Robinsons Place Palawan will remain open.

SM Supermalls

Select SM Malls in Luzon will close at 1 p.m., while SM Supermarket will remain open.

SM City Baguio, SM City Rosales, SM City Urdaneta Central, SM Center Dagupan, SM City Cabanatuan, SM Megacenter Cabanatuan, SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown, SM City Cauayan to close at 7 p.m.

SM malls will also accommodate those seeking temporary shelter, with overnight parking charges for October 31 waived.

Starmalls

Starmall Alabang, Starmall EDSA Shaw, Starmall San Jose del Monte closed starting 1 p.m.

Vistamalls

Vistamalls closed at 1pm but kept essential shops, services, and select food tenants open until 3:00 p.m.

Vistamalls will remain open in case anybody needed overnight parking, restrooms, power outlets for charging, and free wifi access.

AllHome, All Day Supermarket, Coffee Project outside malls are open until 3:00 p.m.
