Vibal Group of Companies founder Esther Asuncion-Vibal passed away on Saturday, November 28, the firm announced over the weekend.
The announcement was made on social media but provided no other details.
Born in 1923, Vibal founded the company best known for its best textbooks, reference materials, trade books, and technology solutions for schools and government.
“In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to support the arts and culture programs of Vibal Foundation, of which she was the benefactress for many years,” the statement read.
The Vibal Group’s core businesses involved publishing, printing, systems integration, and technology solutions specialized for education, government, and private enterprise. — DVM, GMA News
