Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Friday announced that it is canceling all flights to and from Dubai starting Saturday, May 15 until Monday, May 31.

According to Cebu Pacific, this move is to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its variants.

Cebu Pacific said affected passengers may rebook their canceled flights. Though it has permanently removed change fees, it said a minimal fare difference may apply.

Passengers may also avail of a travel fund that will be valid for two years. Passengers may use this to book a new flight or pay for add-ons.

The last option allows passengers to avail a refund. However, Cebu Pacific said the process may take up to seven months from the date of request due to the high volume of requests.
