Cebu Pacific offers P88 seat sale promo after resumption of leisure travel

By TED CORDERO,GMA News

Gokongwei-led budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Friday launched a special all-domestic seat sale after the government decided to allow domestic leisure travel trips from NCR Plus to areas under general community quarantine (GCQ) and modified GCQ.

Cebu Pacific offers a one-way base fare for as low as P88 that passengers can now book until June 11, 2021, with travel period until March 26, 2022.

“We welcome this development and hope that this will continue as we all look forward to safely restart domestic tourism again. We are especially happy to resume our daily flights to Boracay, which solely cater to tourists,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and customer experience.

Beginning June 4, Cebu Pacific said it will begin flying twice daily between Manila and Boracay.

Apart from the said route, the airline also operates regular flights to Bacolod, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, and more local destinations across its widest domestic network.

Passengers can book “worry-free” as Cebu Pacific permanently removed change fees in March, allowing passengers to rebook whenever and as many times as they need to.

Those with existing travel funds may also make use of it to book new flights.

“We encourage ‘everyJuan’ to take advantage of our ongoing promo and book that much-needed getaway,” Iyog said.

These include daily extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols for all aircraft and facilities, antigen testing before duty for all frontliners and crew members, and contactless flight procedures.

Aircraft are also equipped with hospital-grade HEPA or high-efficiency particulate air filters which have been proven to make inflight transmission of COVID-19 low or virtually non-existent.—AOL, GMA News
