Maynilad announces water service interruptions

West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Monday announced service interruptions in select areas across Metro Manila, which could last up to 15 hours.

In several advisories posted via social media, Maynilad said low to no water supply is expected due to the high water demand in the Bagbag reservoir

Below is a list of the emergency service interruptions:

Caloocan City
July 12 (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
Barangays 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 99, 101, 102, 105, 159 to 163, and Balingasa

Makati City
July 12 (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.)

Maynilad currently serves customers in the west zone, which covers the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon, Valenzuela. It also services certain areas in Cavite such as the cities of Bacoor, Cavite, and Imus; and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario.

Shares in Metro Pacific Investments Corp., Maynilad’s parent company, are trading up 7 centavos or 1.87% at P3.82 apiece as of 10:47 a.m. on Monday.  —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KBK, GMA News
