Fuel prices expected to hike from July 20 to July 26

Pump prices of petroleum products are expected to increase next week, the Unioil Petroleum Philippines said Saturday.

In its latest fuel forecast, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel will increase by P0.30 to P0.40 from Tuesday, July 20, to Monday, July 26.

Meanwhile, pump prices for gasoline will increase by P0.10 to P0.20 per liter.

According to the Department of Energy, oil companies implemented a price increase of P1.15 per liter for gasoline, P0.60 per liter for diesel, and P0.65 per liter for kerosene effective July 13.

The DOE said this caused year-to-date adjustments to stand at a total net increase of P13.50 per liter for gasoline, P10.60 per liter for diesel, and P9 per liter for kerosene. —Joahna Lei Casilao/KG, GMA News
