Scheirman gets ISO certifications in quality, safety

The Scheirman Construction Consolidated, Inc. (SCCI), a triple-A construction company, received two ISO certifications for complying with quality management standards and safety systems.

In a statement, the company said the certification included ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), which they received for consistently providing products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, and ISO 45001:2018 (Safety Management System), which they received after undergoing extensive external audits to improve customer satisfaction.

Aside from attaining the certification, the firm also raised its quality and safety standards by passing stringent standards of the global professional certification body, TQCS International (TQCSI).

These certifications will help the SCCI management and its workers during the pandemic, the firm said.

SCCI President and Chief Executive Officer William Russel Scheirman, Jr. said the firm is committed to provide a better working environment during the pandemic.

"It was a humbling experience to be awarded these certifications by TQCSI. The journey was tough especially since all preparations and the actual audit were done during the pandemic,” he said.

The SCCI underwent company-audit wide last June 16 and 23, 2021, which includes documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of Corrective Actions.

Further, the accreditation covers its corporate offices in RS City Square, Cainta, Rizal and on-going project in Cebu, listed in the 8990's Urban Deca Banilad.

The  documented review covered more than 17 departments with four dozen established procedures. —Consuelo Marquez/NB, GMA News
