Gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices down for fourth straight week Tuesday

Motorists will be greeted with cheaper pump prices of petroleum products starting Tuesday, marking the fourth straight week of rollbacks.

In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Flying V, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., and Seaoil Philippines Inc., said they will cut prices per liter of gasoline by P1.10, diesel by P0.60, and kerosene by P0.50.

Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc., will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30 for all the firms, except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 8:01 a.m. the same day.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements.

Latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that year-to-date adjustments stand at a total net increase of P19.20 per liter for gasoline, P16.30 per liter for diesel, and P13.69 per liter for kerosene as of November 23, 2021. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/RSJ, GMA News
