Globe says subscribers may experience service disruption

Globe Telecom on Thursday said its subscribers may experience service disruption and is now fixing issues to restore its services.

“Our Globe Postpaid and Platinum customers may have experienced difficulty in sending outgoing text messages or placing outbound calls since 6:13 a.m.,” the telco said in an advisory.

“Likewise our Globe Prepaid, TM, and Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi  may have experienced difficulty in reloading,” it added.

Globe said its technical and support teams “are working to fix these issues.”

In a separate statement, Globe said its calls, messaging and reloading services have all returned to normal after a few hours.
 
“The issue was resolved at 10:53 a.m., with all affected services restored,” the telco said.
