Diesel prices expected to go up by at least P8/liter, gasoline by P2.90/liter —Unioil

Pump prices of diesel and gasoline are expected to increase again this coming week, according to Unioil's forecast for March 29 to April 4, 2022.

The company said diesel prices may go up by P8 to P8.30 per liter.

Meanwhile, the prices of gasoline may go up by P2.90 to P3.10 per liter, it said.

Earlier this week, motorists welcomed a rollback in the prices of fuel products, although this was not enough to offset the 11 weeks of successive hikes.

Effective Tuesday, March 22, prices per liter of gasoline went down by P5.45, diesel by P11.45, and kerosene by P8.55.

The Department of Energy has said that the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has hit global prices, which in turn impacted domestic prices. —KG, GMA News
