AirAsia offers seat sale for as low as P28

As more people plan their travel getaways to make up for two years spent in lockdown, AirAsia Philippines announced a P28 one-way base fare sale.

In a Facebook post, AirAsia Philippines said it was rolling out the “Super Summer Sale” to local destinations including Bohol, Dumaguete, Cebu, Puerto Princesa.

The seat sale also includes round-trip airfare from Manila to Singapore for only P1,348.

To avail of the promo, an individual must be an AirAsia member. They need to download the AirAsia Super App on their mobile phone and create an account via Gmail.

The booking period for the promo is from March 28 – April 3, 2022, with a travel period between March 28 to September 30, 2022.

Airline bookings had increased after the Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 placed the National Capital Region and other areas under an Alert Level 1.

The Philippines opened its borders to business and leisure travelers last February 10 - the first time in two years since the pandemic hit.

Meanwhile, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat earlier said that the country would reopen its borders to travelers from all countries, including from visa countries, starting April 1. — DVM, GMA News
