Fuel prices to be rolled back next week –Unioil

Oil industry player Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. said on Saturday that fuel prices were expected to be rolled back during the week of January 10-16, 2023.

Unioil projected that diesel prices would go down by P2.40 to P2.60 per liter, while gasoline prices would be reduced by P0.50 to P0.60 per liter.

The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau had earlier predicted that diesel and kerosene prices would be reduced by over P1.50 per liter, while the decrease in gasoline would not be over P0.50 per liter.

Similarly, an oil industry source told GMA News Online that diesel prices would be slashed by P2.10 to P2.40 per liter, while gasoline would go down by P0.20 to P0.50 per liter.

Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented the following day. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
