Cebu Pacific offers three-day P1 promo fare

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Monday announced a three-day one-way P1 promotional fare, covering select domestic and international destinations.

In an advisory, the airline said the P1 one-way base fare will be available from April 17 to April 19, 2023, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel period will be from August 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

Passengers can use their existing travel funds to pay for flights and other add-ons. They may also make purchases through payment centers, credit or debit cards, and e-wallets. The carrier ended 2022 with a P14-billion net loss, marking an improvement from the P24.9 billion the previous year as revenues jumped 261% to P56.8 billion.

“CEB is ready to move forward with optimism and confidence as we transition from recovery to growth mode,” Cebu Pacific Chief Executive Officer Mike Szucs said.

Cebu Pacific is optimistic to have returned to profitability in the first quarter of 2023, with 11 additional aircraft set to be added to its fleet this year. —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas / VAL, GMA Integrated News
