Gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices up P0.10 per liter on Tuesday

Motorists will have to pay more for petroleum products this week, as firms will hike pump prices on Tuesday after the rollback implemented in the first week of the year.

In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Flying V, Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Corp. said they will hike prices per liter of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene by P0.10 each.

Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does they do not carry.

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will implement the changes at 4:01 p.m., and Caltex at 12:01 a.m. the same day.

Firms last week implemented a rollback — gasoline by P0.10 per liter, diesel by P0.35 per liter, and kerosene by P1.40 per liter —  after a major hike that took effect on Dec. 26, 2023. —KG/KBK, GMA Integrated News
