Fuel price hike seen next week —Unioil

After a round of rollbacks this week, motorists should brace for an increase in pump prices of petroleum products in the coming week.

In its weekly fuel forecast for May 21 to 27, 2019, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said the prices per liter of diesel and gasoline may go up by P0.80 to P1.00.

Local oil companies usually implement fuel price adjustments every Tuesday, usually announced on Mondays.

Latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) showed diesel prices range from P41.05 to P46.25 per liter, while gasoline prices range from P52.85 to P59.81 per liter. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
