ARTA to launch Central Business Portal in September

By JOAHNA LEI CASILAO,GMA News

A Central Business Portal Platform through which business owners may register their ventures online would be launched this September, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) said Saturday.

Jeremiah Belgica said on Dobol B sa News TV.

Belgica hoped that through the project business registration in Metro Manila cities would become fully automated by the end of the year.

“Excited kami kasi within this month makikita natin ang paglulunsad na ito at mag susunod-sunod na rin ‘yan. Hopefully by the end of this year, ang Metro Manila cities natin ay mag automate sila from end to end sa kanilang business registration,” he said.

The project was being implemented in coordination with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the Social Security System, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Pag-IBIG, Belgica said.

Belgica said ARTA was also pushing for an electronic business one-stop-shop to be established in every local government unit.

— DVM, GMA News
