DA assures NCR of supply of hogs from Zamboanga Peninsula to meet holiday demand

The Department of Agriculture gave assurance there would be enough supply of hogs in the National Capital Region for the holiday season, according to a report on GMA's Saksi on Friday.

The DA said hog raisers in Zamboanga Peninsula committed to provide 1,500 live hogs per month to NCR. 

The demand for pork meat is expected to go up during the Christmas holiday season. —KG, GMA News
