According to the Office of the President on Twitter, Marcos met with the  officials to plan the administration's steps on maintaining sufficient rice buffer stock in the country.

He also proposed a farm-to-market road masterplan that will, according to him, ensure food security in the country.

Marcos said the FMR masterplan will serve as a guide for the government in promoting food security and empowering rural communities. —Richa Noriega/NB, GMA News
