Marcos, Brussels airport exec discuss direct flights from Belgium to PH

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Tuesday met Brussels Airport Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arnaud Feist.

According to the Office of the Press Secretary, Marcos and Feist discussed the possible opening of direct flights from Belgium to the Philippines in support of tourism and economic development.

Marcos is in Brussels to attend the Commemorative Summit between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the European Union in Belgium.

Direct flights from Belgium to the Philippines is expected to boost the economy and tourism of the Philippines, Western Europe, as well as countries in Southeast Asia.

Marcos is also set to hold bilateral meetings with leaders from Belgium, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, and the European Union. —Richa Noriega/NB, GMA Integrated News
