Grace period for payment of loans, credit card dues no longer in effect - Duterte
By VIRGIL LOPEZ,GMA NewsPresident Rodrigo Duterte said Monday the grace period for the payment of loans and credit card dues ended on June 1 after the country was placed under less stringent coronavirus disease (COVID-19) restrictions.
The measure was applicable only during the enhanced community quarantine.
“In view of the lifting of the modified enhanced community quarantine on June 1, 2020, the grace period for the payment of all loans and credit card payments granted under Republic Act 11469 [Bayanihan to Heal as One Act] is no longer in effect,” Duterte said in his report to Congress on Monday.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, Regions I (except Pangasinan), IV-B, V, VI, VIII, IX (except Zamboanga City), X, XI (except Davao City) and XII, CARAGA, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao were placed under modified GCQ from June 1 to 15.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, is under general community quarantine. -- BAP, GMA News
