‘Bikoy’ Advincula posts bail for estafa charges, may leave hospital —PNP

The man who claimed to be the hooded narrator in a series of anti-Duterte videos has posted bail in connection with the estafa charges he's facing before the Baguio Regional Trial Court.

According to Glen Juego's report on Super Radyo dzBB, Peter Joemel Advincula, alias Bikoy, on Friday completed his bail and may walk free when doctors discharge him from the PNP hospital in Camp Crame.

Advincula was brought to the hospital on Friday morning after he complained of high blood pressure but was returned to detention a few hours later.

He was brought back to hospital around 4 p.m.

"Yes, at this time, nka post na ng bail sa lahat ng cases niya. He may choose to leave Crame hospital as soon as doctor certifies he is fit and well for discharge," PNP spokesman Police Colonel Bernard Banac said.

"But we are also anticipating that he will submit his statement and evidences accompanied by a lawyer to CIDG as he intended to do so that investigation can proceed," he added.
