Bus catches fire on Commonwealth Avenue
Tension gripped motorists and commuters along a portion of Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City Wednesday morning after a passenger bus caught fire.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire that hit the bus that was heading for Quezon Memorial Circle, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.
"Nag-usok lang yan. Tapos may sumesenyas may umuusok kaya nagbabaan kami," said a female passenger, who added the fire may have started at the back of the bus.

The bus had license plate TXL-238 and plied the Grotto-Baclaran route. It caught fire near the Ayala Technohub area.
A photo tweeted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority showed flames and thick black smoke coming from the rear part of the "Kellen" bus.

Firefighters arrived to put out the fire while Metropolitan Manila Development Authority teams rushed to the site to manage traffic.
Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire.
