Liquor ban around UST in effect for Bar exams
The Manila city government started to enforce a liquor ban around the University of Santo Tomas before dawn Sunday, the first day of this year's Bar examinations.
Mayor Joseph Estrada prohibited the sale of "beer and other intoxicating liquor" around the UST's perimeter from 4 to 8 a.m. on each Sunday of October, GMA News' Hadji Rieta reported.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court issued last-minute reminders to bar examinees.
