Early picket adds to MRT riders’ woes
The woes of commuters taking the Metro Rail Transit got worse early Monday morning, with a picket by militant groups at the MRT-3's station in Quezon City.
Militants showed up at the MRT-3's North Avenue station at about 7 a.m., protesting an alleged plan to use farmers' lands in the MRT-7 expansion project, GMA News' Victoria Tulad tweeted.
A photo tweeted by GMA News' Tulad showed the militants—including a child—holding placards opposing the supposed use of farmers' lands for the expansion.
