Collision disrupts LRT operation Saturday morning

A collision disrupted the early morning operations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 Saturday.

LRT Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera told dzBB radio a train operator suffered a slight injury due to the collsion.

Cabrera said the incident involved a train heading from Monumento to Baclaran.

One of the trains hit another from behind, he said.

He cited initial findings showing the operator's face hit the dashboard but the injury was not serious.

None of the passengers was injured, he added.
