16-year-old found dead inside a sack in QC

The Diaz family in Quezon City has asked for help in identifying the suspects behind the brutal killing of 16-year-old Michael Jayson, GMA's Mav Gonzales reported for “Unang Balita.”

The body of the young man bore several stab wounds on his chest and was placed inside a sack along Manggahan, Commonwealth in Quezon City last Saturday.

It was a street sweeper who found the sack and initially thought this contained garbage. Upon closer inspection they saw the body of Michael Jayson.

Rowena Antonio, the victim's mother, asked for help so they can attain justice for her son.

Julius dela Cruz said witnesses saw individuals disembark from a tricycle early morning on Saturday and unloaded a sack.

The victim's father, Michael Diaz Sr., said his son would leave their home at night to earn a living.

The victim's stepmother, who asked not to be named, said Michael Jayson mentioned that someone wants to kill him. He also noticed individuals who seem to be observing his actions. He was advised to go home early at night.

The police are still investigating the incident to determine the motive for the crime and identify the suspects. — BAP, GMA News
