Pizza downs 7 children in Quezon City

Seven children from a family in Quezon City were rushed to a hospital on Saturday evening for symptoms of food poisoning.

A GMA news report said Sunday morning that a certain Teresita Credo of Barangay Silangan said that four of her children, two grandchildren, and a relative were brought to the East Avenue Medical Center for experiencing nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea and vomiting.

Credo said that the children showed symptoms of food poisoning after eating pizza bought at 5 p.m. from a store along the highway in Baragangay Pagasa.

The children, ages between 9 to 17, are still in the hospital for further observation.

Authorities are still investigating the incident. —LBG, GMA News
