MRT3 commuters can bring liquids up to 100ml only

Commuters taking the Metro Rail Transit (MRT3) are now allowed to bring small amounts of liquid starting Thursday, according to a report of James Agustin on Unang Balita.

Passengers can carry 100 milliliters of liquids, such as water, milk, perfume, and lotion.

It can be recalled that the MRT-3 passengers were not allowed to bring any kind of liquid as part of security measures implemented by security forces following the twin blasts at the cathedral in Jolo, Sulu.

Bottled water was initially banned from the LRT and MRT lines.

Under the liquid ban that was implemented last month, liquids brought in by passengers would have to be turned over to the authorities. — BAP, GMA News
