No work in Metro Manila gov't offices

President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the cancellation of work in government offices in Metro Manila on Tuesday, April 23, GMA News' Joseph Morong reported.

Affected provincial governors were also ordered to assess damage to infrastructure and take necessary measures to ensure public safety.

Presidential spokesperson Salvador S. Panelo said the announcement was based on the recommendation of the NDRRMC and as part of efforts to ease the load of the public transport system. — BAP, GMA News
