Ex-boss Tugade tells Isko: ‘‘Wag kang bibitaw’

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade gave some words of encouragement as he paid a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Thursday.

"Bumulong tayo kay Mayor Isko Moreno na 'Boss, wag kang bibitaw,'" Tugade was quoted by GMA News reporter Tina Panganiban-Perez in a tweet.

Moreno has launched a campaign to clear the streets of Manila of obstructions particularly illegal vendors.

He has drawn positive coverage after he successfully cleared the congested streets of Divisoria and Quiapo of illegal vendors after only a few days into his mayoralty.

Tugade was Moreno's former superior when he was CEO of the North Luzon Railways Corp.

He was the first Cabinet Secretary to visit the new mayor of Manila.

Northrail is a government coproration under the supervision of the DOTr.
